Hands On Fishing Schools Attract Anglers of All Levels

Attendants had the opportunity to learn a variety of skills such tying King Mackerel rigs, live bait targeting of King Mackerel and Spanish Mackerel, techniques for inshore Red Drum and Trout, and cast net throwing for live bait. There were too many other sessions on tactics for a variety of species, equipment maintenance, and knot tying to be able list it all here.

Great Opportunities

These schools are great opportunities for anglers with little to no experience to get a head start. They help avoid so much of the learning curve that comes with beginning saltwater fishing. Anglers of all levels of experience attend the schools year after year. They understand there are always new ideas and techniques to learn and discuss.

As a local charter captain, fishing is my passion, and I enjoy sharing my experience to help more people get on the water with confidence. Students have the opportunity to book charters with us at these events. Our charters can help anglers of all levels quickly gain a more in-depth learning experience. We are already booking charters as far out as October. Be sure to call or email me for available dates.

Upcoming School

I am looking forward to the Get Hooked Fishing School on March 16th at the Pine Knoll Shores Aquarium. Get Hooked is another great event to attend. I hope to see you there. Come visit our booth in the Discovery Classroom.  I would love to meet you! www.ncaquariums.com/pine-knoll-shores-special-events

After this school my focus will be on prepping the boat and gear for a great year of fishing with clients. I hope to see you out on the water soon!

Until next time…
